My approach

I really don’t want to be seen as a activist, but sometimes its the only way!

If I see injustice that affects our community (I consider the geographical North part of Devon to include both Torridge and North Devon districts), I feel obliged to speak out. Whilst campaign activities are often public, I use my knowledge, experience and communication skills to engage privately with various senior officials to inform, suggest, and even cajole them into positive action - but always on behalf of our community.
